Purity

An Albino Horse, what a rare sight it would be to see such an animal. Every now and then nature throws us a curve that is like a ray of hope. I debated with myself this morning about showing some pictures that came in this week on the Holocaust, disturbing, ugly and a time as Dwight David Einsenhower said . . . "Get it all on record now - get the films- get the witnesses - because somewhere down the road of history some bastard will get up and say that this never happened-" As a General, he was one of the best, and he knew that it was a time in our history that we should never, ever, forget. Right now, in spite of our history, we are on the brink of another Holocaust . . . will it be them? . . . or will it be us? The sad part is we really do not know each other. The current event of 'burning the Koran" created an uproar the world over but when they burn the American Flag nothing is said or done. Neither is right, so where does it all begin, this hatred, this desire to rule a world that does not belong to us. We are visitors on this planet for such a very short time . . . when are we going to learn we are our brother's keeper.



So today, say a prayer for all of the souls lost to 'infamy' and add one special one that you will meet and greet your neighbor with a smile. A slow start that could spread all day. It is Friday, the last work day of your week and precious moments are coming for a long weekend spent in peaceful harmony, you might host the last bar-b-qu of the season. The heat is on, the winds of change in the air and Fall has come . . . make a pact with yourself to enjoy every moment of it because soon you will be out there in the cold and wind shoveling that white stuff that is so much more prevalent than the white albino animals in our lives. Today...has a pretty good sound to it....enjoy it. Hugs to all.
