In Colorado Spring, Colorado, some folks put out a water barrel to catch the raindrops to water their gardens, or use the soft rain water to shampoo their hair, only to find the barrel almost empty. They set up a camera to find out the whys and the whats and found they had a visitors they promptly named "Big Al". They are actually thinking of putting out a larger tub. They had better think that one over as "Big Al" may have a family to bring along and demand a bubble or two for bath time. What a personality this little bear has, you can almost hear the sigh of contentment as it luxuriates in its bath. I remember when bubble baths were the all time favorite and you could soak away the blues, sing all of your favorite tunes and solve all the problems you had, then came the fast shower to match the busy world we live in . . . but I may not be up on the bathing habits of others and it could be they are lying about texting to their hearts content. All I can tell you is that bubble baths are the cure all for a lot of ailments, but on the other hand there is nothing wrong with standing under the hot spray and feeling all of the tight muscles relax.
So today, decide what you want for you . . . a bubble bath or a shower . . . or a swim in a lake or a dive into a huge wave at the beach. Whatever you choose relax and know how lucky we all are to have clean water to bathe and to play in. Mid September, still time to enjoy Indian Summer and get ready for the winter blahs . . . blahs, why there is snow boarding, skiing, even a ride down the mountain side in an inner tube. I still remember that kind of a ride down a Sierra slope with exhilarating speed and a lot of laughter. It really doesn't take a lot to lift our spirits. Speaking of spirits, well, maybe we better leave that for another time. Make your today something special . . . just like you. Hugs to all.
