Truth and Dare

Poor Tony, I thought he was doing a great job of informing all of us about what they were trying to do to cap the runaway oil well. He was on the television every day saying BP would stay the course. Strange how a scape goat is necessary when trouble rears its ugly head. As for Obama vacation time runs in threes, or is it four with a new one coming up while people are out of work, losing their homes, facing more and more . . . come to think of it the House and Senate are vacationing and planning a few home meetings to tell us how hard they have worked this past year in our behalf . . . aah politics!!
I found this interesting but am not sure it is a true picture of the future mosque to be build near ground zero. There are so many fake stories and pictures that people put out in the computer world. If it were a picture with just the building I might take it as a truth but it looks like people walking by and that makes me wonder. Whatever, I, for one, hope that the mosque is build elsewhere . . . maybe in their own country in honor of all of their people killed in the car bombings.

Erin had her camera ready when she spotted a bumble bee on a stalk of lavender. There were several more bees flying around but didn't stray from their flight path so you could see them having 'lunch'.

I learn something new every day. What a teaching tool the computer is as a friend takes the time to send along an e-mail attachment with something new and different that I have never heard of. Laminin, a new word in my vocabulary, which means a "family of proteins, an integral part of structural scaffolding of basement membranes in every animal tissue which holds us together . . . cell adhesion."

Can you believe that each of us carries the sign of Christ within? It certainly makes me feel better to know there are positive signs within and without.
So today, check the news and reviews and see what you can find . . . something you haven't heard about or have no idea exists in your world. I hope you find the funnies so you can have a chuckle or two and enjoy a summer day without intensive heat. Some folks are sweltering. Here we are chilly with a fog cover to keep us cool, although my old bones can use a little summer heat. Go, have a good day accomplishing all the tasks you have set up for yourself. Humming is good. Hugs to all.
