Photographs

I received an e-mail yesterday with photographs from unknown photographers, all very beautiful, all masterpieces of art. The first one is of the Northern Lights which I can only hope will one day fill our skies, but, I guess it only happens in the north of our continent and it has to be one of the most spectacular shows on earth.

This one of the trees hidden in mist reminds me of right here on the Oregon Coast where we have misty fog, or sometimes pea soup fog so that you cannot even see the shadows of the trees.
This picture brought to mind my friend Larry who owns a sail boat. Once upon a time I had a chance to go sailing on his boat and we drove up to Lake Tahoe. He reminded me recently about the story I wrote of our day on the lake. It was quite an adventure and one day I may put it on the blog to share with you.

This picture is so colorful. My daughter Christine recently bought a painting, just like this, and it hangs in her living room making the room come alive. I would dearly love to visit this part of the world and get a closer look at the village by the sea.

I often tell you about our trips up or down the 101 highway and wish I had a picture of a two lane highway. Here is one, but I would say this one must have been taken in the east coast as the trees are of the beautiful and awesome fall colors of the East coast. Our trees are mostly of the pine families. It brought back a memory or two of the New England fall when I lived back there so many years ago. I have pictures in a collage that show all the beautiful colors of Fall.
So today, keep in mind there will be a weekend in your future, and plan a day with your camera. Go out and take a walk and show me some of your scenery. Meanwhile work hard and enjoy the week, starting today . . . make it a quiet day and concentrate on prioritizing your priorities. Hugs to all
