Here's our friend Maxine snuggled in her favorite chair ready to devour a bowl of popcorn and watch her favorite shows, you know, the ones she power naps through . . . but then if you are not an octogenarian or on your way to becoming one you may not be familiar with this scene; don't worry you will get there sooner or later and it really isn't a bad place to get to. Just be sure it is your chair that you are snuggling in.
There was another read on quotes, this time it had to do with the art of insulting another person. The article went on to say how this generation delights in using the four letter words as the spew insults upon their friends and foe, while in the earlier years the folks knew how to insult you with class. I thought you might enjoy reading a couple and join me in a chuckle or two.
"Some cause happiness wherever they go, others, whenever they go." - Oscar Wilde
"I've had a perfectly wonderful evening. But this wasn't it." Groucho Marx
So today, as you go about enjoying your blessed Sunday and are having a day of rest . . . if not, you should . . . it will be another six days before you can do it all over again. It is grocery shopping morning for me and I can hardly wait to see what Freddy has done to make the "Maxine" in me come alive. Have a great day, a memory builder and do something nice for YOU. Hugs to all.
