The e-mail caption was 'new redneck technology' ignoring the fact that someone was clever enough to find a way to lock their car without the help of an expensive technician. You know, when you don't have money to spend, you seem to manage another way to fix things. 'Chewing gum and bailing wire' are other ways to go.
I always wanted to vacation in a house boat; never thought of this idea. Don't you love the row boat, or does it have an engine to haul this vacation trailer along? Imagination . . . works for them.
Now here is a very clever couple who made their own red flyer automobile. The e mail showed in detail all the work they put into it and what fun they had driving it around their town. It really is pretty ingenious and I wouldn't mind having a ride in it. That little red wagon brings back lots of memories.
I wonder if this happens often throughout our land. Aah, modern technology . . . and not a red neck in sight. I wonder where that expression came from. . . red neck. . . I think we are all rednecks at one time or another in or lives. The picture reminded me of the roads in Rhode Island, down in the Exeter area where my special friends lived. Whenever I would visit they would take me for a ride through roads just like this one but they never ended at a 'dead end' but usually at a wonderful restaurant where they served Rhode Island johnny cakes and delicious meals. A picture speaks a thousand words, so the expression goes, but more often than naught, it brings back a memory of roads well traveled and makes us smile.

So today, you have hump day, half way mark for your busy week so make it a good one. Maybe you will be tempted to try something unusual, something a bit out of your ordinary day, don't stay on 'hold', go for it and have one of the best days of your life. Hugs to all.
